SSH Castle Hills offers Preschool, After School and Summer Camps. The staff at SSH dedicate themselves to creating a safe and loving learning environment for young children. It’s our mission to foster supportive connections between students and staff as we work to expand your child’s language skills. And of course, to inspire a passion for the Spanish language in all students that will open up further educational, travel, and career opportunities in the future. 

Once you step inside SSH Castle Hills, you automatically become a member of our family. The students are familiar with every teacher and the teachers get to know each student, their parents, and even younger siblings! When you enroll your child at Spanish Schoolhouse their day will start with a warm greeting and big smiles that make even rainy days sunny! We believe in bringing a positive attitude to each new day and making every day count. We like to make learning fun and we involve the parents as much as we can because providing your child with the best education possible is a team effort. SSH Spanish immersion classes are unique, engaging, and lead to higher language retention among students. Our teachers bring their unique talents to the classroom; some are musicians who will bring the guitar and drums, some love books and create a fun storytime, other teachers love to dance, and some are very crafty… all of these talents together make for a very special learning experience!

While education is a priority at SSH, we also recognize the importance of learning interpersonal skills and making friends. At recess time, students can engage with their classmates and have the opportunity for important free play and physical activity. Our Castle Hills location has a large playground with three slides, multiple playhouses, and a castle! We also have a large sunshade to block children from the harsh Texas sun while they play. There is a paved area where the children enjoy zooming around on riding cars and tricycles. This multi-purpose space is also utilized for P.E., as well as fun events like our cascarones party for Easter or our family picnics! Several picnic tables are also available for impromptu class picnics.

This is a gem of a school. I wanted my daughter to be exposed to different cultures/languages. Spanish Schoolhouse really delivered! The teachers and staff really love and care for each child. In two years, I’ve only had one issue come up and it was resolved immediately. They are so flexible with part-time days which is hard to find, and I have always felt like my daughter was safe, loved, and was learning.
